ABOUT ALEXANDER SAFAR SALON

Founded in 2022, Alexander Safar Salon is a boutique luxury hair salon located on Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay. After more than 22 years working within an established family salon business, Alexander created a space rooted in craftsmanship, education, and a more thoughtful approach to hair.

The salon was designed to prioritize extended, highly customized appointments over high-volume scheduling, allowing every guest to receive focused attention and a truly personalized experience. Known for precision cutting, lived-in color, and corrective work, the team at Alexander Safar Salon is committed to consistency, artistry, and elevated results.

Alexander’s work and philosophy have been recognized by publications such as Allure and Elle, as well as local Boston television and radio. His vision extends beyond technique alone—every detail of the salon experience, from the calm atmosphere to the products used, is intentionally curated to feel refined, welcoming, and personal.

When he is not behind the chair or mentoring his team, Alexander enjoys traveling with his family.
