  • No. Alexander Safar Salon is independently owned and operated.

  • All appointments can be booked by calling the salon or online through our scheduling system. Booking online allows you to view services, pricing, and availability in real time. If you have questions or need guidance before booking, you are welcome to contact the salon directly.

  • Yes. We offer a 15-minute consultation for new guests or anyone planning a major change. A $25 deposit is required and will be applied toward your service. Consultations can be booked by calling the salon directly.

  • Our pricing is service-based and differs by stylist, reflecting the time, technique, and level of customization required for each appointment. Starting prices can be viewed through our online booking, but can change if services are added or if extended time is needed.

  • These terms are often used interchangeably. A glaze, toner, and gloss all refer to a service that:

    • Refines tone

    • Enhances shine

    • Softens or neutralizes unwanted warmth

    • Refreshes color between larger appointments

    This service does not lighten hair and is often added to color appointments or booked on its own.

  • What you book depends on how your hair is colored:

    • If you are covering gray or maintaining one solid color:
      Book a Single Process Root Touch-Up. This service is for gray coverage or refreshing one all-over color at the root.

    • If you have highlights and need dark roots blended or lightened:
      Book a Partial Highlight or Full Highlight, depending on how much of your regrowth needs to be addressed. Highlight services are used to maintain or refresh highlighted hair — not single-process color.

  • Yes. If your preferred appointment date or time is unavailable, you can add yourself to the waitlist directly through our online booking system.

    When you join the waitlist, you’ll be notified by email or phone if an appointment becomes available that matches your selected service, date, and time.
